Our living room offers a large area for residents to spread out and enjoy comfortable electronic lift recliners or couch seating. There are several tables with accessible seating for board games, crafting projects and more.

 

This space is used daily, even outside of planned activities. A separate sun porch is also accessible right off the room. 
 

Located right off the living room, with a set of wonderful windows to let in the morning sunrise, is our quiet den space for residents.

 

This space features a small library, computer with webcam, crafts, puzzles and the like, and a large table for our small group activities. 
 

Our main dining hall seats all 32 residents and then some with its expansive seating area. Residents have lots of choice with an always available menu in addition to traditional entrees and access to a juice fridge.

It is also used for various resident activities. The room features a piano typically used for guest performances or church, and a projector system with an 84" screen for movies. 

Off of the south wing of the facility, we have an accessible 48ft by 70ft fenced in area with a patio and pergola built in 2019.

The patio is used anytime residents ask, and is able to host meals, coffee, group exercise, hands on planting experiences with our raised garden beds. Our wristband call alert system allows for 24/7 access to the area.
 

The facility offers residents access to a shower room and a private whirlpool. 

 

Bathing schedules are all set to resident preferences, allowing for choice with time of day, set weekly schedules and variance between the shower or whirlpool. 

The facility features a beauty shop, in a space just off the west wing. The beauty shop operates as a salon when needed by residents, and once per week during the facility hairdresser's appointments.

The facility offers skilled therapy and rehabilitation services for any current or incoming residents. These services are not limited to just our therapy room, as our team takes a hands on approach to restorative care. 

 

Rehab Care provides all therapy for The Nicol Home. 

Residents and guests can always get a snack or a drink using our resident kitchen. This area features cabinet space, a microwave, fridge and sink area. 

 

Residents use this space to relax and read the paper or a book, or even to meet with their guests in a private homelike setting. 

The Nicol Home features 4 large private rooms, each with their own cabinet space, a large bathroom and closet. Rooms have their own AC & heating units, televisions and access to wireless internet.
